what could you do with it? back scratcher or a handy wee rake maybe?. glidofglove could use it in his garden.
Given the amount of thought that went into the amputation, he must have either been in a great deal of pain, or he was a complete fruit bat.
I admire the (two-handed) engineering in building the elaborate guillotine. Clearly, an attention seeking contraption and that points to psychological issues at work. Let's face it, you can chop off a hand with a lot less hassle and probably cleaner without using a spring-loaded axe. I can imagine him texting the wife and thinking: "this was a lot easier with two hands!"
The bloke is a complete idiot.Think of all the pain and anguish he has caused to his wife, family and friends. If he had been in that much pain he wouldn't have been able to spend two weeks building his contraption.I was probably a bit harsh calling the guy an idiot,he obviously has mental issues that need attending to.Perhaps the NHS have let him down in that dept.I personally would not knock the NHS as I have had very positive experiences with them.
Living in constant pain, even mild or moderate pain can really get to you. Living in severe pain must be a mind altering experience. In some way it is like people who take their own lives, I don't think anyone can really pass judgement without experiencing life from their perspective.
