Today is World Autism Day. You might spare a minute to glance at the National Autistic Society website: http://www.autism.org.uk/about-autism.aspx
I used to spend a fair bit of my spare time at Stroud Court, a home for autistic adults (my sister was a residential social worker there). My life is richer for it.
Trained in horse boy method a holistic therapy for people with autism through horses. Amazing the difference it makes. What fascinates me is the water sculptures.
Welcome to my world at home and work and my life is better for it . I've become more tolerant and I hope a better person for having been allowed into this world.
I have always thought I probably was autistic or had Asperger's, but I realised I wasn't intelligent enough.......... .......more of a psychopath in reality......
Aspergers - an excuse for awkward people to to be awkward. :Shifty: Austistic - special people with immense imagination
Nah...........don't really agree...........more likely a specialist interest (I don't fit - I have too many).
