Today was my first day on revised medication, double the strength of the previous lot.Visit to hospital to have an X ray of my hip.I am now happy and disconnected, brain is now in fail safe mode and I have spent a silly amount of time composing this post.Hoping to wake up tomorrow just as daft.
Visited my lawyer in the above building, about 100 meters from the gherkin. Stepped into the foyer and immediately felt epically under dressed. White marble in abundance.
Drove 500 miles round trip to collect 748SPS ( minus fairings and other bits) then set of yellow fairing panels. Left home at 8 and just got back! I'm restraining myself from going out in the dark with a torch to peer at it!
Sounds like a good choice to take out.I think fun day is an understatement,I bet you have a whale of a time.
as I said in a previous post,I am just as daft this morning.Mrs Mervyn wanted to know how the belt sander worked, she wanted to sand some shelves down.I was showing her how to put a belt in and how the machine switched on.What I did then was to switch it on with my left index finger on the edge of the belt,Ouch, that was painful.Moral of the story is not to operate machinery after taking ones medicine. I have now been banned from doing anything else till I come back to planet earth.
Tis okay for a while, but I have had it go on to long and it aint much fun being useless and having to drastically alter your way of life.Sorry didn't mean to moan.
Thankyou Finm.Long term illness is very depressing and one gets very isolated if you can't get out and socialise with others.I am lucky in other ways.Mrs Mervyn, aka 'Adolph' looks out for me and takes on board a lot of things I would normally do.
i know what your saying, i live in the middle of no ware, so you can imagine how desperate i am when you find me on here.
Hey there's no need to apologise. The older I get the more creaky I get. One day you may have to listen to me moan too
