Okay the mileage isn't the lowest. But that's still a lot of classic 90s superbike for the cost of a Desmo service Kawasaki ZX7-R R-REG 37K CHEAP P/X TO CLEAR ONLY £1399. | eBay
The only thing that's holding me back a bit, is the RR is by all accounts pretty rubbish at low speeds, making it not exactly brilliant for commuting duties. Nice bike though
Cheap commuter on the same site David Sykes Superbikes. MOTO ROMA SK125 13-REG ONLY 1100 MILES Under £1500, It might do someone. Or this David Sykes Superbikes. SUZUKI DJEBEL DR200SE ENDURO M-REG Something different
nice project ,,i'm on zawasaki forum and bloke over there done a bit by bit rebuild on a zxr and its looks tasty now he is close to finish take a look Kawasaki ZXR750H2 full nut and bolt rebuild
^^^ Very nice restoration, I find doing this sort of thing far more satisfying than just the run of the mill maintenance and every day running tasks.
Ummm...that's not an RR. Swingarm pivot is wrong, and there shouldn't be a peg hanger on the LHS of the subframe. For a cooking R model that's not much of a bargain.
I may have missed it but I cannot see where the advert says it is an RR. It does sneakily say R R reg but surely that means it is an R on an R plate?
Get your cash our big boy. You know you wanna. Didnt the rr's have huge flatside carbs. Always liked the old 7s
Slower. Just buy a ZXR400H2 and thrash the granny out of it. Not only will you look cool and retro on your screaming green blur as you over take litre bikes on country roads; you'll also get to keep your licence as it doesn't do 70mph in first gear
Wait.... It's not a ZX7 'RR'... It's a zx-7r standard model... For it to be a 'RR' it would have several differences I believe such as flat slide carbs, close ratio box etc.
Blame my former housemate, he's got a hard on for the things. While he was staying here I got roped into building an ZX7/9R, and a basket case ZXR400H. The nightmares still haunt me now :Nailbiting:
Years ago a mate had a zxr400 import. Chain snapped and smashed the crank case. No local dealers wanted to know lol
I bloody loved my ZXR750L, fantastic bike, confidence-inspiring front end, and it still looks great. If you buy any colour but green you are ghey as fuck. Just sayin'.
