Needless to say if anyone has a Multi for sale as soon as the insurance confirm they are paying out I am in the market for one.
Nah, he's giving it away, to a worthy cause. He's from Yorkshire-'generosity' is his middle name.......
Sorry to hear about this. The thought of the hit on insurance and the inconvenience fills me with dread. I'm guessing my premiums would get loaded to the point where owning a Ducati wouldn't be an option any more.
Yep and just think every Multi that gets pinched will go on the stats which will be interpreted by the insurance companies as Multi's are a high risk bike. They'll then up Multi insurance premiums, you see it people like you 'sensibleflipfronthelmetandcomfortablecorduratrouserwearers' that only have yourselves to blame.
Spot on. Except they're mail-order, piss-retardent Crimplene 'slacks' sourced from the back section of Reader's Digest.
I wonder if this multi got taken into a dealer for a service would they be able to tell the exact bike and if so do they have a stolen bike register built into there system? could be one way of finding it.
Wishful thinking on 2 counts, I fear. If it's still in this country, it's highly unlikely to be in one piece. There won't be any record on the dealer diagnostic system, and even if the dealers were minded to make a note of it I can't see the insurers or the police being bothered to spread the word round the network.
You on twitter??? If so put a message on @TSMWAlerts Sorry to hear news I might be selling a 2013 62 plate Ohlins S touring over the next few months
