899 ready for collection

  1. I put a HID kit on my 848 for £50, made a huge difference at night.
    I'm hoping the Chinese start producing led kits for the 899, i remember when the first integrated tail lights came out for the 848/1198 - circa £100, after a few months they were down to £40 when multiple vendors started making them.

  3. Just had a look on the bay and they have an led light unit removed from a 10 mile old 1199s. £399.

    Modding isn't cheap is it. lol but it is fun!;)
     
  4. Would you know if it's compatible with ours or more bits (& aggravation) needed?

  7. Just added a couple of more bits,some pro grips and a proper rust free chain and rear sprocket +2 teeth and some cf swing arm covers.

  8. Love the changes, where did you get the swing arm covers and how much if you don't mind?
     
  9. They are from JHP around the £150 mark,they are the ones they had made for the 899 challenge bikes and are not show spec but they are pretty good,i hate dss paddock stands and it was only a matter of time before i scratched the swing arm.

The 899 is getting a little winter makeover,Stm slipper and mag cases fitted,carbon mag cover(cheers James),Oz piega forged rims front fitted with the addition of some titanium bolts still waiting for rear to arrive,supercorsa sp's,lightech rear sets(cheers Istanbulian)and quick action throttle,roll on the spring. photo 4.JPG photo 3 (2).JPG photo 2.JPG
