New clutch after previous owner saw fit to just hand tighten the main clutch nut, causing it to come completely loose whilst on a ride out, sheering 2 drum pegs off and throwing springs & caps out all over the shop. Upon stripping it all out, the "new" clutch plates which apparently were fitted 500 miles ago look so old & worn im suprised the clutch worked at all. Still, at least i`ll know its got all new bits once I fit them.
Not a purchase as such, but I've booked my bike in for a free suspension check and set-up. Hopefully all is still in good condition and it just needs setting up, but after 27k km the forks might need a service. Fingers crossed.
Discs and sprocket carrier to complete my set of wets. Just need the tyres now and bolts to secure the discs... It will never rain again ;-)
Impulse purchase Went to On Yer Bike in Aylesbury yesterday to get a fuel tank seal and came back with a Drift Ghost-S
Supposed to be slightly better that the Ghost. Better battery life etc and the Ghost was brilliant. Good purchase
Picked up a DP tail tidy for the Pani Saturday which is a big improvement on the hossing great thing that protruded before. Then some knee sliders at Brands today (the old ones on my 2 piece seem to be disintegrating...and barely a scratch on them )
4 tanks of V-Power and 1 hour of labour at the dealers. I supplied some new parts and they replaced the radiator free of charge as it was a case of warranty. The suspension check-up and set-up at HK Suspension was free of charge. Gotta love good customer service!
