  1. Hopefully you did not let the grass grow under your feet, getting the agreement written and in place......

    Bdoom tsshhh!

Bad joke, could do better with the rant IMHO. Ok first effort.

Sunny tomorrow, get out and ride.....

  2. Started making a tail tidy for the 748, had a sleep, made dinner, had a sleep, now getting ready for brands tomorrow thanks to Loz the Held rep for a day out at bsb

  3. I've sorted out my hacked email account, fanny'd about on here, done some ironing, and been next door for Sunday lunch (in fact I'm still here watching the sports channels)

  4. Run to the green welly then glencoe ,oban ,inverary, stirling, home 350 miles cracking day sun splitting the sky all day :upyeah:

  5. Not bad. :)

The plan has been to get out all weekend, sadly the rain Gods have declined to play ball.

  6. one of my usual routs, probably heard you passing, couldn't be arsed the day sat out the back just pissing about.

  7. Oban? Got Roxy (my 900 ss ie) from Oban. Quite a ride back to Milton Keynes in the pouring rain. Can't believe I've had her almost three years now...

  8. Yep...spit roasted with his mate ;)

  9. Had her and married her :(

  10. Pulled her out of the garage yesterday - she hasn't been run in about four months, but due to dodgy Italian wiring and engineering she fired up like she was ridden yesterday.

I'm really struggling with not being able to ride, there is no legal reason, the bike is taxed, insured and MOT'd and there are no restrictions on my license but I'm conscious of the surgeons warning about what can happen if I had another accident with the gamma nail in place (gruesome). Riding up and down the driveway (about 40 feet) just seems a tease, but until I get the all clear, what can you do. I'm also conscious the left leg is still very weak. :(

  11. How bizarre is that: yesterday it was out with the down jacket for shopping in the Jura as it was 2° there and trying to snow. It was only 6° at home. Today, it's been T-shirt weather and I have weeded, dug, composted and raked a hunk of the veggie garden and planted potatoes (earlies for new potatoes - num num!) and been to a 20the b'day party thing (friend's daughter).
I don't feel guilty about not riding my bike at it is still 100 km away having it's 40k km service.

  12. I've just discovered I can insure an RC8 for £400.

I'm now seriously considering selling the R6 and going big bore.

  13. Took the good lady wife and 2 youngest to Hidcote Manor Gardens, and I can recommend the Sunday roast for starters. Rain held off till we drove home and if you like walking round gardens you will not be disappointed. Found some great roads on route aswell for a blast.
Off to bed now for an early start for the Southend shakedown !

  14. Back into the shed for me. The Guzzi will be running today, come what may.

  18. north connel? taxi driver.

  19. Pulled the Guzzi out and fired her up. She's now ready for the mot, but still plenty of work to do. At least it'll be a rolling project from here on.
