Sad days, I did that as my dad declined with Parkinson's over six years-it's hard. He will have been pleased to see you, as will your Ma. Chin up.
My mum has now got dementia and is seemingly oblivious. Dad is on a morphine syringe driver to combat the pain so when it kicks in he's drifting in and out of sleep. Was horrible to see. On Wednesday he was full of beans according to my brother and they went for a walk in the sunshine and had a lovely afternoon. He took a turn for the worse on Thursday and we are now where we are. Sorry to be maudling. But having not seen him for ten days (cos I live a couple of hours away) when he was ok, it's affected me a bit.
Thoughts are with you, went through that 10 years ago, Dad was in hospital, said 'see you in the morning' but I never did get get to speak to him, he had a heart attack, they burst his aneurism reviving him, he never came around, awful to watch. Take care mate.
Been where you are, El T, it's a dreadful place but you get through it somehow. Today I have been out on the bike. The weather was terrific, as long as you weren't on the A272. On the A272 today, it rained. Heavily. Constantly. But as soon as you got off the A272, it was just dandy - sunny and dry. Right now, I am drying out - I refuse to not use the A272 for any reason whatsover
garage time, sofa time and lazy time for me...bike just needs an oil change, replacement grips and get the broken footpeg off and its ready for more action

stopped there the other year, on my run to, around and from Killen. Is there not a gold mine or some such, in Tyndrum?
Been down the pub to say thanks to the staff and pick up my Liverpool birthday cake...yeah thanks, I'm a life-long Chelsea fan Anyway, turns out the reason I feel so shite today is cos one of my female admirers was feeding me brandy and malibu cocktails. No wonder I feel rough.ead:
