  1. It will only get worse or better depending on your outlook. Take what you need. Reject the rest.

  2. You could use Outlook but for most folks, a web-based email client is sufficient.

Not for Glidd though, obviously :)

  3. Or I could just write a letter.

  5. If in doubt, give it a clout. How's that Merv..?

  6. The skill of the IT engineer is knowing exactly what component to clout, and how hard to clout it.

I once talked a remote user - a real technophobe - through the process of clouting her keyboard, with a successful outcome. Some of my best work ...

  8. Its the same with modern bikes these days,Err,shall I ride with the traction control on 1,2 or 3,shall I ride with the engine brake on 3???,should I set my digital speedo to show ambient temp or MPG and if so should it be average or actual.
I just want to ride and enjoy a quick spin on my bike FFS.......:)

  13. IT engineers, they're a breed apart, they seem to have their own language, be completely unable to explain anything in plain English, the kit we have is always shite and the only solution is to upgrade everything at vast cost, and of course their infamous mantra " have you tried turning it off and then on again" :Banghead:

  15. "Switch it off, and switch it on again."

  19. Move everything to Apple. You may be in the clutches of the giant US corporation but the ease of use and simplicity of moving things around, synchronising etc is worthwhile. I consider people who bang on about Windows and Android to be at least two castes below me.
