bike intermittantly cuts out on one clyinder usually around 3000 rpm have changed sensor uint on front head and changed relays to injectors / fuel pump any ideas before I take bike into shop to get it sorted
Hi Popelli, Does it just feel like it's on one cylinder or do you know it is (and which one). I ask because these bikes do feel like they are on one cylinder around 3000 due to the mapping to pass the emissions testing. Mine was dreadful until I got a Power Commander to remap it. Just thought I'd try and eliminate the easy answers first. Someone who knows what they are talking about will probably be along shortly. Good luck..
Any news? (my project 900 has slight hesitation below 4k rpm) Alex at NLM advised me that he modified the standard ecu via his Bimota s/w. wondering if the TPS needs a tweak maybe? cheers.
If not talk to Chris at CJS, he'll be able to reprogramme the chip if needs be. More accurate than a PC as well.....
no news - bike is in shop and has mechanics scratching their heads on the plus side motor has freed up since pipes PC etc fitted and has gained 2hp at the back wheel, now putting out 83.5 ponies
doesn't sound like its too far off at 83.5 bhp.... I've put my slight fluff down to emissions / noise regulations, as its very crisp everywhere else.
SPIKE......IF YOU READ THIS CLEAR OUT YOUR PM INBOX YOU DAFT OLD GIT...I CANT REPLY TO YOU UNTIL YOU DO.......Age is a terrible thing isnt it ? Lol....
