  1. Just got meself one of these and rather pleased with the price.

Came to just shot of £140 with the adapter for the 1098. Currently got 40% off

Warrior Spider Stand - Demon Tweeks

ill write up a review for anyone whos interested when it arrives

  2. I'd be interested but I notice they don't supply a pin for the 748-9** or 749-999 range which is unfortunate.

  3. Says pin C for the 749-999

  4. Thanks, I didn't notice that right at the end, I actually want one for the 748 series more than anything.

  5. I would be interested in your review please slof. Would the pin take the paint off the frame on a 1098? Is the pin a snug fit or is there room to maybe wrap it with tape to protect the paint etc? I am struggling with storage space for my bike so this could be handy for me.

  6. I use both an original Ducati stand for the 848 & a Harris stand.

Now I have the axle crash boobins, i can use the harris stand ( which i nearly sold ).

    Happy out.

  7. i will let you know what its like when it arrives and if the pins need a cover of some sort. i might implement the rubber end of a broom stick or something to that effect

  8. It says up to 30 days to arrive.

Where does the lift locate on the bike?

  9. yeh im just hoping its quicker. DT are normally pretty good with that sort of thing

  10. Looks pretty neat. The bit that goes into the frame didn't look very long though or is that my eyesight?

  11. When I sold my Suzuki and purchased the ducati I sold my harris rear stand and purchased a single sided sealy one. What a load of crap. I did not realise you could get the bobbins to allow me to keep my harris stand.

  12. I onyl copped i could use it after I put the bobbins on...

  13. I have seen a more expensive but very similar bike lift and there were inserts that fit inside the frame. The engine mounting bolts come off at the two rear points and a small bush is then put into the frame and said engine mount bolts retightened the lift then slots into these bushes as I recall.
    Similar to this .

  14. Aye that's the Bursig I got one of them and it pretty bloody good. I only got it as my dealer knows how to seduce me as he had one left he couldn't sell it and more or less gave me it at cost. It was still well expensive.

There are others out there too but the warrior does look pretty good.

2242 is spot on about the mounting and its (for me) a bit more difficult than Bursig make out and I wouldn't be jumping on the bike when on the stand either. Anyway it works well you can wheel it around and you can do forks and head bearings (but not swinging arm).

Bit of faff first time as you need to adjust pins for angle and exact fit. That done with the wheels it truly is dawdle to get on and off.

Be interested the Warrior is at least 1/2 what I paid for a discounted Bursig and looks good. Be particularly interested in the mounting

  15. I can't believe Bursig aren't sueing Warrior, it's clearly a complete rip-off of Bursig's design.

  16. If they were the original designer that is . Theres been quite a few makers of very similar bike lifts over the years .

  17. I bought one of these and found it excellent . So good I got rid of my hydraulic bench lift . I recently tried to purchase another and cant find them for sale anywhere . Think fig is probably right .

  18. Completely forgot about giving feedback on this. It getting to me was a bit of a shambles and then after using it for a week got an email form DT saying don't use it. didn't give a reason why but a week or so later got a new set of casters for it. but apart from having to make the locking pin hole a bit bigger the stand worked perfectly. not 1 brown trouser moment where i thought it was going to fall off and the ease of movement was a massive help. ill get some pictures up when i get a chance

  19. Can you check you original link? I can't find it anywhere on demon tweeks site now.

  20. They sent me a new set of wheels too . There exactly the same as the originals but I didnt put them on . Again the stand is excellent and works perfect .

I tried to order another for a friend but couldnt find it again . They were also on sale an Ebay but they seem to have also gone missing .
