What's It Worth?

  1. Seriously thinking of parting company with my beloved 999s due to finding myself enjoying track daying the R1 more and more.....

What's it worth though? A red 15k (good history) 2003 999s bip with open clutch, assem Termi, dp carbon no plate hanger, levers and posh reservoir covers?

Is it worth putting back to standard?

    Anyone else's recent experiences welcomed,
    Simon

  2. About five hundred quid! When can I pick it up?

  3. :Asshat::Asshat:I'm guessing you're talking just about the Termi?

  4. 4.5 to 5 k depending on condition and history..

  5. I was thinking the same region.... Some prices on tinterweb are daft!

  6. A mate just got £3,000 for his in part exchange with full termis fitted and very well looked after.

  7. Why not keep it and turn it into another track day bike?

  8. I did consider that but the r1 is quicker and cheaper to maintain.... If I could race it I prob would.

It would defo sit in the garage rather than go for 3k tho!

  9. I agree, that sadly only around the 3k to 3.5k mark as a private sale. Saying that, put it up on ebay/mcn/bike trader for 4.5k+ and see what happens :)

  10. A couple of clean basic 749s have just sold at auction on ebay with no reserve and have both made around £3300, so a 999 surely would make £4000 minimum

  11. Id turn it back to standard then list it on ebay, it will always fetch the market price on there, then you can sell the extras for extra cash. Checkout the sold listings etc and see what price others fetch to give you an idea. Sadly the 999 doesnt seem as popular as some other models, so you may find ancient 996`s fetch more!
