Hi Met a few of you in Valencia, I was in the garage with Slob, Funk and Pegboy. Shame that the guy that put the R1 in the hospital wasn't even apologised to.
As always these things are very emotional and subjective depending which camp you sit in.......i have seen several of the videos from those involved and around the area at the time....i know it was dealt with professionally by mark from NL..... the bottom line is it is all about attitude to the track day.........something all of the what 10 or so bikes that came back in bin bags could learn from......
Back home with a bump, work work and work! Once I get some time I'll go through the photos and video, nice to see the Moto3 bikes playing at the end and the Aspar Moto2 guys setting up at the end. Jonzi, you're wrong there as I spent a good 10 minutes chatting to the R1 rider on Wednesday morning at the back of the garages checking he was OK.

Sarcasm is clearly lost on you. Any way. Was a great trip for me. Aragon and Valencia are now my two favourite tracks. Shame they are in Spain and not the UK, though a little bit of sun did help! Hope to see you all again at the Ducati trackdays coming up.
Who remembers who's punted you off or duffed you up anyway?! I can never find them in the paddock, everything looks the same to me! Plus when I've felt aggrieved its been so much I'm in a rage and probably best I don't find them...saying that after one race, when i was accused of taking someone out when it was another guy who had swiped his front wheel and I did nothing other than slip thru a gap, and he wouldn't admit it, there were some words exchanged where walking away or ban from racing were the options..and I'd just won so wanted my cup But most of that was that many of my 'friends' didn't believe I was worthy of winning (or beating them). Not been the same relationships since..
Nice of you to wait for the protection of the internet before posting that, especially as it appears that Freak did indeed speak to your friend, and we were only a garage or two away for you to come and talk to .....
Chaps, Can we perhaps dampen this down a little before anyone falls out about it. The incident was very unfortunate and I am sure that everyone involved or who saw it could take lessons away from it with the benefit of hindsight, but the reality is that there were far too many people crashing or taking each other out in general. It was only that incident where someone got hurt, and clearly no-one wanted that, or intended it to happen. The group 3 incident where they went in three abreast into turn 1 (fast) and no-one backed off was rediculous and amazingly no-one got hurt. Amazingly only one went down relatively gently and he was OK. The other incident was very unlucky by comparison. But frankly it surprised me how many people crashed or were crashed into. People were picking each other up or out-braking into turns etc everywhere. Many went awry. It wasn't a race, it was OTT. People make errors, it's normal. I think it was far more than 10 bikes sadly over the three days though that hit the gravel or track, and many of those were contact incidents rather than run-offs. I am glad everyone was OK in the end, and in general a good few days were had by all. Sunshine, great track and lots of Ducatis...... what's not to like?! But I was nervous riding that bike - I won't do that again in that company.
