There was a track day at pembrey this weekend,was going to do it originally, but changed my mind and booked donnington instead.so far seems to be a good decision. Nelson was there yesterday and was wet and windy and they cancelled today.actually slightly better today, but very windy.
Hi Jeff, just booked and paid for me and my girlfriend. Probably be staying in the Thistle overnight because these old bones don't like early starts . Got a crusty old purple Merc C class estate and there'll be a Honda NC29 and a 748R on the trailer. Last time we went, too many riders were trying to get their noise test done (105db static/98db rideby) and we just ran out of time before the briefing started so we ended up missing the first session. If you are going to arrive about 7:30, I suggest you get your bike tested before you book in. Make sure you have your FE paperwork and the MSV paperwork as you sign in with both of them. Not sure that the MSV form was down loadable and you need both parts of your driving licence. If you forget, they phone up the DVLA on your phone or at your cost which of course all helps you miss the first session. Look forward to meeting you. Andy

I was speaking to a couple there which had a duc 748/916 era and a 400. Except that time I was on my Honda CBR 600 in the novice group. This time I'll be on my 916 intermediate with my black track fairings on. See you there!
If it was a tall white haired, bearded old cogger in a Dianese Ducati 2 piece with a Kyonari Shoei talking a load of bollocks and a rather attractive younger red haired lady wearing a blue Dianese 2 piece with an Arai, yep that was us. I'm sticking to novice until I know that there isn't someone who is going to lap me twice in a 20 minute session. Too many faster riders for a decent grouping last time out. Andy

Forecast not looking good for tomorrow Wondering what to do, take the Duc and hope for dry patches or my old CBR with all weather tyres on. Neither will be great fun if it's raining I spose.
Just loaded the trailer and packed the car ready for the off shortly. Put the wets for both the 748 and the NC29 in the car. Even if we only get 3 or 4 sessions I'm definitely going out on track. Oh yes, packed clean underwear as we'll . Andy
