Any body had this problem? The locator lock pin dictates the exact position of the seat, but this is the gap I have at the tank. Any ideas - basically the seat seems 10 or 15mm too short in its overall construction. You can wiggle it and pop it away from the tank locators very easily as it hardly slides on to them. The pictures below are what mine looks like. It's probably fair to say the seat and especially its fittings are not the finest piece of engineering on the bike.
yeah I find the seat a bit 'awkward' to put back on and always seems a bit 'loose' haven't fell off as a result of the seat yet though!!
It would appear not.....something I was going to get to....ive got some ideas...RSV4 is getting the love at the moment so I cant afford to spend anything on the hyper - that's been getting all the cash over the last 6 months.... Need to get the RSV back together for the TT as right now its all over the garage floor....
