This is a much funnier thread than most leathers for sale threads. Dainese 56 isn't that massive. I've got one set of 52 and it's only a couple of sizes over that. What El T meant is why are the leathers for sale never garden gnome size?
Lol, what a funny thread. Nice leathers though. Dianese Euro 56 is about a 46inch chest. I just about squeeze in a Dianese 54 race suit atm and im 14 stone with 45inch chest. The 2 problems I find with the Dianese 1 piece suits is a) if you have big arms/shoulders then they are really tight around the arms / tops of shoulders. and b) the actual length of them. Im about 6ft and they seem to be designed for people who are 5ft 10 / 5ft 9 in height as they really try to cut me in 2 if i stand up. When your in a racing position on the bike its fine, but once you get off.... can bring tears to your eyes. Great suits though, ive crashed in them loads of times and they have certainly saved my bacon.
You do tend to have to adopt the "loping gibbon" posture when off the bike if they are zipped up. The one pieces size one size smaller than the 2 pieces in Dainese. ie, if you take a Dainese 54 in a 2-piece, you'll need a 56 in a one piece. My two-pieces are 50, the one-pieces 52.
That is very true. I also have a Dianese 2 piece in the same size 54 and it much more looser, they also seem to add more stretchy material around where they join in the middle with the zip to make them more comfortable.
