Just had the 24000k full Desmo service completed yesterday at Ducati Shanghai service centre and dealership. No dramas, Ducati China has a few full service centre's and dealerships across china now. Ducati parts are sometimes a challenge but have mates coming and going from overseas all the time and myself going on overseas trips quite frequently as well.... No worries, more to come in the future as I got a few trips in the planning for 2014.... Had a very extensive website with thousands of China biking pics but the site crashed two years ago and can't be bothered to start re-building a new one. Sunday 30/06/2013, the Thailand assembled Monster 795 was unveiled to the public at the Shanghai Ducati showroom. Ducati Beijing showroom and service centre.

During my recent Shanghai - Nanjing ride (May 2014) the Desmo service light (24000k) showed and took the MTS for a full service to the Ducati Shanghai service. The MTS fells like a new bike again with the full Desmo service (belts, shims, etc.) and some extra preventive maintenance and service completed, changed the gearing to 15/42 and really lovin' it. DUC-MTS ready for some fun rollin' and serious ADV cruising around Mainland China once again....

Mate, for the $$$$'s we pay for bikes / parts /service over here in the lovely motherland just making sure everything done right and correct. All well within specs and no re-shimming was need ~ had a shim kit on standby... just in case as owning a performance import bike in China presents certain challenges at times....
