Didn't think Troy was on speaking terms with Max. At one stage he said he would ride for free if it meant Biaggi didn't ride for Ducati Team. Plus I remember Biaggi spraying Troy with champhers after 1st race at Italian WSB round which is not the done thing as they have to race in the same gear later in the day.
Troy was doing DRE this week and he has his own 1199RS in grey with #21 that he rides. I expect he was making use of some free track time
