Went to a football tournament for most of the day with my youngest and they lost! Then popped over to Cassington for the Italian Bike Day. Met some great people Staniforth was there with a couple of his bikes and I had a quick spin on his 750 monster. Couldn't believe how quick it was, so much more grunt than my wheezy old 600SS. Now guzzling gallons of wine in the garden.
Stripped down the rsv4 for an oil change/service/good clean and to add some goodies.... On the way... Samco hose set. Stahlbus quick release sump bolt. Pair of hid bulbs. As many stainless bolts as I can while it's apart... Can't wait for the TT....
180 miles on the Pani, a day at Donington supporting (timekeeping etc) a mate and his team in the NL Endurance Race. Somewhat sunburnt and have just come in from sitting in the garden with a cooling drink, listening to lambs bleating, birds signing and no other sound. Gravadlax followed by steak with truffle oil mash for supper. Today is a good day to be me!
contemplating buying a bigger van next time i have spare cash so i can head south of a week end, sick of this freekin rain, scorchio all week, pissing it down on my day off.
Rode over to Royal Wootton Bassett where the UKMOC are having their weekend bash. Rode with them over to Cassington Italian bike day, very good and very warm, home for a BBQ now watching MASH.
Took bike back to garage to get the hot starting sorted out. They lent me an MV Rivale 800 to ride home on. It's now in my garage. I'll be writing a review of this tomorrow when it might get more of a chance to redeem itself. My impressions today are not particularly favourable. Then cut down a sizeable elder tree and fed it into Gnasher the mulcher. Elder wood is pants. Gnasher eats entire branches without even burping.

Nearly went to Merrist Wood, but ended up just having a good old plonk round on the Guzzi enjoying the sunshine. Proper job
I managed about ten minutes before my arse was screaming for mercy, half an hour and I'd lost the feeling in my legs. Must re-do the seat with some firmer foam...
Bicycle day today, riding one, cleaning two and prepping one for next week's commute. Also watched the MotoGP but fell asleep with with laps to go.
Oh and made an appearance at Compton Abass. Saw a Desmo, assume Dave's but no owners. Also think I saw John A?? N?? W?? As we got there but he disappeared by time we parked
