Fantastic effort. I am presently restoring a 1976 z900 but it was in a way better start point than yours . Keep going and keep info coming you have inspired me into a flurry of activity on mine
Its getting there slowly but surely, i have a few more parts to put on and then test the headlight / indicators and test the bulbs in the clocks and see how the wiring loom is doing should be fun :Arghh: I would like to get all parts on the bike this summer, seat, front brake, cable's and all bits and bobs etc so that would leave the body work and then the engine and carbs, well thats the plan. The thing is i don't want to rush doing a full rebuild as i enjoy doing it as and when i get the time and money :Jawdrop: not cheap this rebuild lark but is great fun Thanks all for the replies
Thought it was time to get the headlight and indicators fitted and tested, so took the battery of my lc and headed of to the shed and bugger me if it did not all work i kept the same bulbs that were on the bike when i got it and bear in mind it had been standing in a garden since 1993 growing moss, So i'm a happy boy :Cigar:
Several - CB100N, CM125, CD125 Benly, CB200, CM200, CB250 Nighthawk and CBX550F1... Can't remember any of them giving me any electrical problems. Suzuki GS250T on the other hand - total electrical nightmare !
