I got an SMS from the garage saying I could pick up my bike, post their having fiddled about with it to make it easier to start when warm. So I scooted over there on the MV Rivale they had lent me, and which I had also scooted about on yesterday. I've got a good handle on that bike now and will do an in depth review on my blog, with a link to it on here. I was mightily pleased to get back on the 999 and came home at a rate of knots. It prompted this reflexion: we get so used to seeing what isn't great with what we've got, and wanting something new to replace it with. All you have to do is start using something that isn't as good for a few days and then you are just totally chuffed with what you already have. My, the 999 is a fine motorcycle.
I've now written my review of the MV Rivale. It's here: MV Agusta Rivale 800 Review – Flattery will get you nowhere - The Glidd of Glood Blog
Can you see the theme? this will be happening a lot! So it's 11:46 on a Tuesday? So what? Don't judge me!
Another blood test today 3rd one in 3 weeks, scan on saturday, a bit tense to say the least. Fingers and toes now crossed. Steve
