After 21 years of being without a two wheel option, apart from a little quiver of push bikes, I have taken the plunge once again. A Kawasaki man in the past, I decided it was time to fulfil the dream and get a Ducati. Picked up a 999s on Sunday and rode 280 miles home. Just like riding a bike. Bloody marvelous to be back!
Welcome, and amazing bike! I'll keep an eye out for you, Maldon essex I presume, I only live up the rode in Great Baddow.
Welcome + a lurvly trip9 you've got there. I had a 999s & loved it. A unique Ducati that broke the mould.
It seems to be a bit of a Marmite bike. Those who were brought up on the 916 generation don't seem to like them very much, but I think it looks great. It has aged very well. There is a lot of red from the side profile, but I am working on a plan to cure that issue. Nothing bling, just a couple of subtle mods. From a handling perspective it's light years ahead of my old 1989 ZX10!!!
Loads of us over in Chelmsford. Meet at the Angel pub in Boreham every third monday (just missed it!).
