14,000 miles, 02 plate, totally standard, in great nick. £3500 Could probably do with two newer tyres and the front brakes need a decent strip and clean. Looking at the pegs, the hero blobs have never made it down
Looks good, whats the plan - track bike , or commuter? Yamahas, now Honda's, whats the world coming too...... ill have to start posting pics of my Triumph
I had a blue 954, without a shadow of doubt one of my favourite bikes ( errrr... Maybe shouldn't say that on a ducati forum )
Yes that exhaust is huge, but also exceedingly quiet. Original unscratched. Yep, I need to infiltrate our sister site and set up some sort of inhouse fighting. Yes @Pete1950 my best. Servicing will be the same price as a new bike I would imagine. My first thought yesterday on the ride was just how civilised it felt. High bars, good mirrors, calm engine, comfy riding position. Weird for a 150bhp sportsbike. To me it felt like a VFR
For the Honda it'll be a hell of a lot cheaper than for a Ducati when the major service comes along, despite having twice the number of cylinders.
Nice nick and a bargin at that price. Those 954 are really light too.I had an 08 Blade and which was a great road bike.Lots of people say that Hondas are boring but they have the nack of building very complient, easy to ride and confidence inspiring motorcyles.Big from me.
I've got a Honda. It bears a strong resemblance to a long-submerged anchor. But it starts first time every time and can stir up a surprising head of steam. It's been a long time since I've owned a jap 4, but to be honest I'm finding the experience quite rewarding.
I like it Matt, keep looking at other bikes but I don't use the ones I got enough any how Quite fancy an xjr 1300 at the moment, last week it was a Triumph Scrambler and before that a Rocket 3 ! Think I will stick with what I have
They're great bikes, Matt! Had a blue 954 several years ago. Bullet proof, light, and just a great bike. Compared to your 1098, be prepared for how slow it feels though...
