Hi guys So iv spent a little time applying some decals to the bike today and I'm after some opinions. The Pro Twins decals were applied by Pro Twins upon delivery and the other I applied myself. I had a pal make the Ducati Corse decals and I bought the wheel rim decals from eBay. Iv also fitted a Ducati Performance tail tidy which I bought from a fellow member of the forum. Really makes a big difference IMHO. This is probably going to be it for the mods for a while. The only thing I'll probably do is fit some Termis, but that's a way off yet. So guys, let me know what you think. I'm a little undecided on the decals so far.
I like the colour on the fence panels, blends well with the grass and looks a natural combo. ( well you did ask for opinions.....) grass needs edging though. Subtle decals, and if you like em, then that's all that counts. Be out, loud and proud on your 1199.
Looks good! I've got the 'Ducati Corse' decals on mine, breaks the red up a bit and makes the bike look a bit more interesting in my opinion. I'm not into the dealer stickers though, I don't believe in advertising for people who have profited from me - unless they pay me to do it!. You say you'll not put any more mods on it but it's like an addiction, once you start you'll keep sneaking bits onto it!
The wheel rim stickers are on eBay, just Google Ducati stickers and they'll come up on the first page.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I'll remove the dealer decals. Looks a bit too fussy. The rim decals can be found here 8 x DUCATI SUPERQUADRO Wheel Rim Decals Stickers - Colour Choice - 1199 panigale | eBay
Dump the pro twins ones and get rid of the plastic heating shielding including the plastic cylinder casing covers.
Ducati 1199 Panigale Termignoni, Titanium Silencers, 96450311B, Genuine | eBay Saw these on ebay Russ. Don't know if it's a good price or not.
I bought mine from cornerspeed as they were doing a deal - not sure if he has any left but worth a check.
I do ,it was last pair brand new in box , how much? theres the cash c ya later happy days ,and much better note than standard, and louder with baffles out ,nice popping on the over run,
I'm with @BIG M. And form of dealer advertising comes off my vehicles. They've profited out of me. The want advertising space they can pay for it.
I think the dealer decals are going to go. Iv ordered a different variety of Ducati Corse decal too. The ones iv already fitted are too large and don't look right IMHO. I'm a little bit anal about the finest details, it does my head in lol
