  1. Hi folks, finally got round to registering on the forum, after visiting for a long time. I have a '97 carby 900ss, which I have owned for 8 years. I have done most of the usual things, open air box, filter, Stage 2 Dynojet, open cans, Oberon clutch slave cylinder, repainted engine, stainless bolts and most recently new battery, starter motor and leads, what a difference that has made to the starting!
    Steve.

  2. Hello Steve, hope you found it easier to post than I did, I had to enlist the help of an expert to get started but hey ho I'm running with the wind now!

  3. Hi Andy, yes I am a bit challenged when it comes to this sort of thing, even though I work on CAD each day. I get my wife to do anything complicated.

  4. A Cad monkey eh? Best post in red pen then.

  5. Oh yes! The number of drawings I used to get back with Red pen all over them! Work at home now so have to do it myself.

  6. Hello and welcome :)

  7. Welcome mate.... Not a million miles from you in Atherstone :upyeah:

  8. Thanks Matt. Hi Hutch, no in fact my wife works in Atherstone and my sister and dad are in Nuneaton, so familiar with that part of the world. Do you ever go to Bassetts Pole on a Tuesday evening?

  9. Not for a while bud... keep meaning to though, next time im free on a tuesday Ill message you on the forum... hook up for a coffee

  10. Cheers finm.
Hutch, that would be good, see you there sometime.

  11. is a red pen an advance on a pencil then?

  12. A red pen is far more obvious to everyone when it highlights everything you have got wrong!

  13. Or a red pencil, but that is more advanced.

  14. makes no difference to me. red, blue black. pencil or pen. they don't work proper for me.

  15. take em out of your nostrils, might work better then....

  16. I mark up in pencil, so asides from @TT600 being envious of me and my pencil, you would not like my markups. Anyhoo, welcome. I'm an ex cad monkey myself and sometimes wished I'd stayed a cad monkey.

I have a selection of pencils of all colours. They are all freshly sharpened and beguiling.

  17. I am getting all a quiver at the thought of your selection of freshly sharpened pencils! I spent many a year on a drawing board before moving onto cad.

  18. my my mr @bootsam, what a big collection you have..... cheaper than a flat screen TV I guess... pencils01.jpg
