  1. even more sensible, but too easy- wheres the fun in that, we'd have no thread if OP did that.....

  4. Build spec update:

Some tweaks have been made. For the exhaust going to have the titanium pipe (the long bit that goes up RHS and under the rider seat) just like the factory bikes and won't ceramic coat pipe nor wrap. Gold reflective film under the airbox, seat and wrapping the lower of the fuel pump. Brake calipers now MotoGP spec F13 and the new T drive discs. Ditching the SSTK data logging and gonna wait for new EVO race kit later in the year. I talked to Steve about the tank and gonna go with the larger carbon version - it saves 5kg!! MR now ordering all the parts, so photos should start to appear on here soon. The plan is to weigh the bike and dyno it before the work begins and then on completion.

Finally, spoke to Mike from Rage who confirmed they would like to do the paint job and has the Imola paint in stock. He is going to come up with initial design and we gonna take it from there.

  6. Minor update:

Dubai Authorities will not let me change the colour of the bike so the Imola paint scheme out of the play.

Cooking up an alternative which will be awesome though.

Bike being shipped to MR this week and am told it should be with them Thurs and then the real fun begins....

    Happy days.

  10. Those cases are a problem, aren't they? Far too nice to throw away, but hard to find a use for.
I'd sooner pay less and have the stuff in a cardboard box with styrofoam chips. But as a marketing guy, I get the photographer's case look.

  11. I love those rearsets. Think far better then the DP Corsa ones.

  12. Bro, that radiator got my juices flowing.... :)

  13. So...... bike air freighted to UK with a Carnet document (good idea for temporary export and which all race teams etc use). Good ol Blighty customs refusing the documents because it does not state UK - despite the carnet agreement being for all agreed countries participating (of which UK is one....:Banghead:); so the paper work has to be couriered back to Dubai, UK put on it and sent back..... FFS....

I am betting its because it has Dubai nr plate on it ..... oh well, the harder it gets, the harder I push....:D
