It's a twin, they don't rev that high, the R revs to 10,750 and I believe that's 500rpm more than the others models
your not related to jerremy beadle are u ,this has gotta be a wind up ,come out with us I,d love for you to show us the way ,how to ride a panni,
I think you need to remove the rev limiter it will then bounce and pop at max revs, I got a feeling the rev limiter is there to prevent it from happening, best results probably obtained from cold for maximum noise and probably some bangs
The limiter is a "soft limiter" as the redline line approaches it uses a combination of ignition and fuel cut to cause a "stalling" of the motors revs rather than a straight cut out.
Surely the last 1k RPM is over-rev anyway? Serious question, the best way to get the most out of the engine is surely to find out the mid point between most Torque and Most HP; which will prob be somewhere aroun 9K RPM and ride to that? But having ridden a 1199 I have to say dude if your hitting the soft rev limits in any gears I really hope you have plenty of experience otherwise you are going to be another statistic. Please stay safe out there.
change to 4th gear then, this is a fkin wind up mate isn't it ? mind had a look at your pics and looks like your a stunter, but what gives you away is the blade picture ,, hero blobs off but 15mm chicken strips on rear on a 190/50 profile just doesn't ring right ,you've been caught out vale,,
This and the steering damper thread really worry me, like I said stay safe out there because if u have money for this sort of bike get it on an odiham airfield day or a trackday somewhere, take it off the road.
