Just a quick query?. After 1500 miles of use on my Multi. Is it normal for your heal to wear the paint off of your engine down to the bare metal?. I know its made of cheese and pasta but come on.....
Not surprising I imagine at all, Ducati paint is water based so to have it last that long is probably quite good. I used water based paint on an external water pump recently and with no friction it has already started to "wither" in places despite proper preparation.
Not uncommon to wear paint away from contact areas especially with boots, but at @johnv has pointed out, why are you feet on the engine? Get some pics up, but ask the dealer if in doubt
Its my right side, foot on the peg opperating brake!! heel or ankle is rubbing. Its not something im aware of when riding, just saw it when i was washing the bike.
