Surely u just get the suction draft from around the sides of the screen then? I dunno I am no expert, I have never made a video... well.... Apart from that one time... on a trackday... when I crashed the bike... Oops
lol....i used the uction cup on the tank, great spot. And i use it on the side of the fairing. Wind noise never been an issue...odd that.
I use a drift ghost s and all I had to do was connect an external mic which is placed in the front of my helmet and voila no more wind noise.
Lucky bleeder. The TT is on my bucket list to do. Looking forward to your report BvG. Hope you had a great time.
Yeah - that's the problem - it was on my list of things to do 4 years ago....been going back ever since and cant see any change in that...although it might go to shit next year as I cant get ferry tickets at the moment - theyre all sold out...
He's quite well established now - im surprised he's still got a regular job....looks like a life in media for him....
Certainly is, His Journey into london is nearly the same as mine he takes the same route and for years i have never seen him - maybe he works later or earlier hours than the rush hour traffic
From the vids I've seen it looks like he just edits out the fast stuff to avoid problems with the law. Fair play to the guy, I'm not much interested in riding through towns and stuff but I found the vids interesting and learnt a thing or two about the bikes before I went out and bought the one he didn't like
he also was in a Video a while back on a 1199 i think on some tour with the chap from the long way down and around cannot remember what or where i saw it but it looked good - and he is making money out of sticker sales
He certainly is a clever bloke, knows how to market himself - looks to me like he's got a pretty good job by the amount of bikes he owns, but, there is the time factor - he spends a lot of time on bikes (wouldn't we all like to) so I don't know how is other half puts up with it....I had 4 days at the TT and if I set foot back in the garage in the next 4 weeks to even switch the light on ill be in for it...!
Thats very true and also he now has a Baby to look after she must be very understanding he does have a lot of cool toys especially like the Fireblade thats all carbon kevlar
Yeah - although I think he wont be able to get away with "staying anonymous" for long though....I was looking out for pikes peak multistroodles while I was there but didn't see any with the same crash helmet owning owner.....
thats true and he has shown his face in that you tube vid where he was doing that shoot with the guy from long way down still cannot find it was a good vid as well - i think there is a link to it in one of his videos when he was rambling on about it
