I'm gutted I couldn't make, seen ducatis everywhere today too. Well there's always next year, I might bring the 400 if its done Glad you all had a nice time.
Well I got as far as Banbury before my clutch let go. So apologies for not getting there, and seeing how I've only just got back... Well done AL for beating me there and back
Nice to put faces on names, Chris the owner was pretty good getting us to line up, he also makes a really good brew....Good to meet you all. Mike
For the guys asking about my T-shirt Facebook scroll down to march 29th if no joy with that pm me I have an email address. Great day out today really enjoyed it, Ken great idea to get this up and rolling.
not my idea, I just kickstarted the meets that used to be organised previously when the ducatisti forum was running and thought it was about time to get them going again
well sorry i missed most of you all as i arrived at 2:20 due to a (ahem) slight detour lol met ckuk and hejira though had a cracking meal and a brilliant brew covered approx 323 miles with a couple of mates had lovely weather all the way there and back............although we have a thunder storm at home now got back at 7:20pm now am off for a soak maybe i will make it on time next time (just i am not map reading lol)
My run was 250+ miles round trip......... Was semi-concerned the bike might not hold up......... .......but as I got nearer to Super Sausage, I was becoming more confident with it.......... ........so, on the way back, I increased the pace for most of the way and from halfway home I kept it well wound up for really long distances...... I hope there are more photos (but not the Truvelo type).........
All, Impressed with the bike line up in the photo, looks like it was a good day. I realy have got to get my arse into gear and get this thing finished. Cheers Gaz
Dear all A really fantastic day, I didn't get there til about midday but was one of the last to leave along with with Johnboy and Hejira, whose bike I must have pored over every centimeter. Today served only to strengthen my love of the SS. Looking forward to the next meet!
Glad to see those two photos ck-uk..............or one of them anyway.........at least my wife believes I was actually with a load of Ducati riders and not with another woman.......... (How could she think me and the bike got covered in bug splatter having an affair......) Really chuffed to find out the SS returned 60mpg despite being 'worked quite hard'.......
Hi all, good to meet up, fantastic day and a good run down and back with Dakk66, short compared to a number of you-only 94 miles round journey.
was a special day, won't forget it. As said, Thanks to Ken for starting the ball rolling. We need to make sure we do this again! Super Sausage proprietor Chris was the best host ever and was keen to have us back. AL - if you need more pictures than those already added above then just let me know.
The bike I waited all day to see and I missed it...... glad you had a good time and that you made it without too many hiccups. How's the bike run? Was gonna have a look at your handy work
the bike ran great bud sorry i missed you and the other guys after going back on the m1 almost wished i had put a 15 toothed sprocket on instead of a14 made a new cbr/yzf jap thingy think twice on the way there lol
