Hi, Does anyone know where I can get a set of Termignonis for an 848 Evo somewhere around the North-West (Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, etc.)? Ideally I'd like to go and pick them up this weekend rather than ordering them and having to wait. Also, are there any guides to fitting them or is it all fairly obvious? Thanks
I've looked at eBay but they're all from the US. Does anyone know if there's a UK distributor I can contact?
You want these, honest you do want these. SLIP-ON PAIR - Includes DB Killers - Not Road Legal (No cat converters) - Carbon Race Silencer | Ducati 848 (2009)
The Skorpions (prefer the old name to Akrapovic) are no doubt at least as good in terms of quality but I think the slash cut Termignonis look better (sorry) plus the latter come with the filter and modified ECU.
Try woods of Abergele or Ducati Manchester I'm sure they will be able to help and you'll get the ecu and air filter with them

Just had mine fitted and they have transformed the bike in terms of looks(slashcut) and sound, oh, and it may be a psychological thing but the bike seems flippin quicker. My advice would be buy new and have them fitted by a Ducati trained outfit because the lambda sensor has to be removed and TPS settings adjusted. Neil at Cornerspeed did all of this for me, and while I know they(Termis) are not the cheapest out there on the market, as I have already stated, they look uber sexy! Deffo no regrets.
I tried all three of those channels before posting my question and if Google works so well for so many people, why do web sites even bother with forums or communities at all? I think Google's great for finding hopelessly subjective views on a toaster or getting a part number for a component in an ancient valve amplifier but almost anything in between and you're at the mercy of some SEO company rather than a group of like-minded individuals with some actual experience of buying and using the thing you're researching Saw the ZX4 listed in your signature - that was the ZXR400 predecessor wasn't it? That was my first bike after passing my test
Thanks, I spoke to Ducati Manchester but they said they'd had difficulty obtaining them as well. I'm very new to Ducatis so I don't know the best suppliers, mechanics or anything. You're right as well, the people at Ducati Manchester (and DMC of course) do seem really helpful.
I did wonder about those but the first one is for the 08-10 - mine's an Evo 2011 and I think they're different due to having an extra sensor and needing a different ECU (or the programming for it). ...brings me back to my point earlier that a forum can be much better than a search engine as I'm sure I heard about the extra sensor on another forum thread. The ones from Italy sound good but I would be concerned about buying outside the UK plus I'd have to source the ECU and filter separately. From what I've heard though, that's easy as there's nothing special about the ECU you get supplied in the kit other than the programming (which a specialist can do anyway) - does that sound correct?
Speak to Paul at woods he'll put you right, they fitted mine for free + you get a bike to play on then they are working on yours
Thanks for the suggestion but I think this is a good opportunity to get more familiar with Ducatis as something to work on so I would want to do this myself ideally. Having said that, I took off the fairing just to fit a charger lead and managed to lose one of the shouldered bolts so that wasn't a great start
I think but not 100% sure you need to set something up, somebody else will be able to tell you Where are you based I'm in northwich Richie
I'm in Warrington - just added a picture of the bike to the gallery thread It's completely unmolested - not even a tank pad yet!
