Nope, you're on the money sir, selling the 848, take some funds £2k i reckon and THEN buy another bike...Blade, 848, Superduke etc.
Well you can get older 848 for 5-6k just be careful if its an old 848 challenge bike. Nothing wrong with that,likely better looked after etc, just know what you are buying. You will find the blade effortlessly fast and far less engaging. I jumped off an older blade, 150hp, onto an 848 demo a few years ago which I could immediately ride as quick but was way down on power so gave it back and kept the blade.
Good above my friend. I was thinking of getting an older 848 yet I know I'll only compare it to the one I had and be disappointed. Clearly the Blade is getting the votes now. I'll only be away from Ducati for a max. 6 months I reckon, knowing me I'll find a way to buy an 899....think the misses will notice there's no kitchen in the new house?
