Reasonable Ducati 916 article - not massive detail but a good read. Also a how to change cam belts article undertaken on a 996. Explains the belts are exactly the same type and UK manufacturer as a Renault Clio belt at £40 instead of £120, I didn't know that if it's correct (not having a 916 / 996). Anyone know if there is a similar match for my 998 & 999 engines?
I would be interested to know what data was used to determine they are the same belts. I suppose if lots of people are already using them then at least a few have done the proper research for the benefit of all.
What month issue is this please? I only ask before I ask someone to get a copy for me and wouldn't want the wrong one!
Current issue, subscribers received last Saturday - on the shelves about now with a small picture 916 on the top of the front cover, not sure what month, probably July knowing how mags work
No mention in the "how to" guide about turning the tensioner pulley anti clockwise to avoid shredding the new belts. Wait for the carnage that's going to follow as the inexperienced carry out their first belt change, potentially expensive article for some I fear.
Its one of the better magazines on the market, even if you don't ride a bike from the 70s, 80s or 90s
I have to say that I have started buying it because I am sick of the utter rubbish in the new ones! They all just write exactly the same crap... Except when it's McCabebrown and his interesting Ducati article (although ouch!)....
