As you can see from the picture, we were struggling to keep the bike off the floor! - Knockhill is a great little track but also very technical! There are a lot of bumps, blind corners and cambers to contend with so getting the suspension settings right is a real juggling act of compromises. Even the straight is a challenge! There is a certain line to avoid the biggest bumps other wise the bike literally takes off. The hills and crests on the straight also mean massive wheelies in 4th and 5th gear! - Not fast but man it's fun!!! I'm a big fan of these technical tracks so it didn't take me long to learn it - though it would have helped if I'd watched videos on you tube which were in the correct direction!! haha :Banghead: So who is coming to Brands Hatch for round 4??
Great result and great picture. How was it going up the hill? can imagine it feeling pretty weird going over the top??
The hill was great! Took a bit of getting used to and to trust the bike. Also a LOT of steering damper! The blind first corner is cool, and the bump at the apex is a bit unnerving. - To be honest its a really great little track if you ever get the chance to ride it.
Looks like you 899 guys need to do something about ride height, as lots seems to be dragging the exhaust
Are you going? - you lucky git! I was there in 2012 and it was a great weekend of utter madness. - Well, except for the crash in race 2 and the trip to the mobilia medica!
Yeah it's bit of design issue. A lot of the guys have changed from k-tech to ohlins but it didn't really solve there issue. - I have a look at Wilf's bike on the grip walk and even they have the same issue!

Yep heading down a week on Monday. Four days riding slowly across France via the Route Napoleon and into Rimini. Four days at WDW and the a three day ride with @Pete1950 up through Southern Germany
Picked up a box from Royal Mail earlier.... Woohoo! Thanks Nicky! Hadn't realised either the tickets would be for the full event, happy days!
Thanks to @clueless @emsquared @comesunt @Matt DWrecker for your support this month! Disapointingly though, we've fallen short of the target this month by some 90% which is a real shame. Please continue to spread the word about my crowd funding scheme. Also, if you have any contacts or know of any companies who might be interested in sponsorship for the remainder of the year I'd be very grateful to hear from you Less than a week to go now until the next round at Brands and I spent the weekend preparing the bike. We've fitted a Sigma slipper clutch and so we check it regularly to ensure reliability. You can also follow me on facebook: NWR | Facebook and twitter: NWR | 48 (wilson48forever) on Twitter
It's been a blindingly hot day today at Brands Hatch. So hot in fact that by backside has been getting very hot thanks to in pipe under the seat! I haven't ridden the GP track in over a year, so it's taking some time to get my head round it. - But it is an awsome place! Had to make some changes to the bike in the middle of quali as the heat was making the oil in the fork thinner than normal and so was bouncing all over the place after 5 laps. Put in a PB in quali but miss timed my last few flying laps so will start 15th. I can work with that as it's quite close on times but it's more than likely to be wet tomorrow. There is a fantastic thunder and lighting storm over the riders area right now. - oh the glam of BSB!!
