  1. The one sure fire way to preserve a species is to eat it. If panda balls became popular I'm sure we would soon find a way to get the fuzzy ill guys to start reproducing but without a financial incentive, why bother?

Do you really think pigs would be as prevalent today if they weren't made of pork? The limited number of wild boars is proof of that.

  2. I thought we only ate herbivore mammals ?

That's my rule of thumb though I am partial to a bit of

    Oh never mind

  3. Beef, Pork, Lamb, Chicken, Duck, Goose only. White fish supper, in batter.

Couldn't eat a horse. Definitely not a Donkey. Nor a Dog or Cat. Lily the cat loves a mouse. Couple of weeks ago the back garden was like a scene from Platoon with all the dead mices. She's be worth a fortune as a mouser. Still begs for fucking cat food even after several mouse aperitifs.

  4. Generally, although pigs are of course omnivores, and some species of fish are carnivorous such as tuna. Alligators are widely eaten, and they are of course carnivorous.

The majority of animals we eat are herbivores, but it's not exclusive.

  7. For a birthday present I was given a toffee scorpion (it's a bit like eating one of those resin paperweight's) and a
couple of packets of chocolate ants which were quite tasty. The down side is you eat one and are spitting out at least 15 legs for the next hour.

  8. As the dog sat watching the orchestra, he stared at the conductor and thought...

    "Just throw the feckin thing."

  11. I was going to say venison.... Ok you got me:)

  12. I really like ostrich. Rich taste, a bit like beef, but soft consistency a bit like turkey. Very moreish.

  13. Yes, ostrich is fine. More like beef than chicken. If it was mushy it must have been poorly cooked. Most things can be fairly pleasant if you cook them right.
