Looking to do some fun days out over the next few weeks as i have a bit of time off. Some time will be alone and some with my mrs. Not the usual theme park type stuff but more exciting and different. Already booked for Go Ape, ZipWorld , and a supercar experience so far. Also looking towards a skydive but my other half is still deciding if she fancies it. Give me some other ideas if you can? Ideally located within a couple of hours of Derbyshire.
snowboarding is a good shout. Think the nearest now is manchester. That's be decent day out i bet as im awful on a skateboard so im sure itll end in tears
I second the clay pigeon shooting day. Its a great day out and harder than i thought too. Much. Not sure t'other half would like pot holing. I enjoyed it when I did it but not sure my wife would appreciate it. Lol. Cold and wet. Hire an old VW camper van and take it for a chuff. They're a right grin.
Flying legends air show at duxford always worth a shout. Second vw splittie van hire guarantee within 15 mind you will be the most chilled you have ever been.

black water rafting... nearest site I know of is the waitomo caves just outside Aucland, New Zealand... which in its self would be a great day out... Either that or veal hunting (soon to be banned)
Yeah and leave their name and number laying around for the misses to find (always heightens the experience)
Maybe rent a kayak and spend a day on the river with your mrs . Take a picnic or stop at a pub for lunch and if it is warm enough have swim in the river at some stage. River swimming is not everyones thing but give it a go, you may love it.
