Front setup is the WP factory setup from Jonny Rea... will be exchanged for a FGR800 and 1198 RS triple setup... More in line with the family... very little parts are Original...
Nice Bro! Curious.... is that a full floating rear brake disc? Also, there has been a lot of changes tot he bike front end and electronics it seems so why did previous owner keep stock (?) exhaust? Or is it one of the pre models....?
Like many finds: stumbled over it .. And built a nice network building the Pani .. Treat the people with respect and they ll get back to you
That's a beautiful looking machine. I'm not a fan of the yellow on the red either, I think it would look better if it was just the yellow 46 and the rest was the normal colours. I'd be really interested to hear some comparisons between the two bikes when rode hard.
Can you just move those 2 in front out the way so we can get a better look at the proper bike in the rear of the shot
yep ... dropped her again last thursday... guy came to a stop mid chicane just in front of me... no place to go, hit rear tire just when it was about to lay her over... nothing broken that wasn't already bruised... clip on, right foot peg ..nothing i didn't already have in the spares bin...
I admire the savoir faire you possess when you drop your 1199. I'd be sobbing like a baby if i'd dropped that bike. Well played that man.
A friend of mine one told me that you "you have to treat your track bike like a whore" if you want to go fast. I'm sure there was a more PC turn of phrase he could have used but I understood what he was trying to say. If you're too friendly with your bike it's going to cost handfuls of seconds per lap. So I suppose when you bin it you sigh and get out the wrenches.
