Anyone running a I'm quickshifter and has played about with the settings. A friend is running one on his 848 I think he had it set at 60ms kill time and 65 sensitivity. Just trying to find out what everyone else has it set at and what they think is best.
As I understand it the 60ms is standard kill time. Sensitivity is set so the cut comes at just slightly more pressure than it takes to move the lever into the next gear which you can set yourself (I guess to a certain extent its going to be different between gearboxes). I know @Dementor has one so he may be able to shed some light on what he's running. Alistair
Hee tried it on 70ms kill time now as he was getting false neutrals now and again. Just trying to find out if anyone has played around with the settings a lot more and found a sweet spot.
Have a few customers running them on 1098 848 etc. and have always ended up back at the stock settings. A big influence on them working well is to make sure the gear linkage adjustment is bang on. Needs the alternator cover off to check though.....
Run 60ms kill time and 50 sensitivity which works for me, but you have to be very positive with the change
