  1. I don't do ear plugs either :-D

  2. I also use a clear with prescription glasses with light reactive lenses (or contacts, if I can be arsed). Strangely a few years ago I tried one of those yellow tint jobbies, meant for rain, but I actually really liked it. Cut down on glare both day and night, made dull days look nice, good contrast effect. May go back to that. Only problem is people look at you a bit strange wearing a "rain" visor in the dry. So I voted other, 'co's I think I'll go yellow.

  3. My glasses have a similar tint it's more brown to stop the glare that blinds me
Yellow does make the world a nicer place

  4. How about rose tinted? Strangely, I don't think I've ever seen one.

  5. Clear visor with either clear or reactor sunglasses. Keeping life simple, like me.

  6. That's my everyday tint :-D

  7. I ditched glasses for contacts 30 years ago. Without a shadow of a doubt the best thing I have ever bought. Ever.

But I squint like a barsteward in bright sunlight, so it's tinted pretty much all the time unless it's really overcast or getting dark.

Plus I can look the law straight in the eye without betraying my inevitable guilt.

  8. Lmao

  9. I used to wear contacts all the time, but then I used an eye make up remover that I was allergic to, now I can only use lenses for a maximum of four hours a day. Good thing I like wearing all my different pairs of glasses.

  10. We will have to post pics of the best ones

  11. Clear (like my conscience) for me , can't be arsed with messing about changing/or carrying a spare... I do like lids with the built in shades though.

  12. Clear visor with a pinlock and helmet retractable tinted inner visor.

  13. Dark all the way for me, well march through october at least!!

  14. They may be a faff but they really do save your ears. I never realised how much wind over 30mph can damage your ears. I'm a sound recordist and have mild tinnitus which gets worse when I don't have ear plugs in.

Dark Visor for me, especially with my black AGV helmet on! I always carry a clear as you never know when the rozzers will stop you and the quick change system works a treat!

  15. I can't wear them because I end up falling over the place as they upset my balance oddly
And my tinnitus is awful now as you say the wind whistle makes it worse
Personal headphones in the 80's contributed to the start of it

  16. I'm half man half woman, cos I've got light tint visors in all my lids. Clear is ghey, dark tint is double ghey. HTH.

  17. got to be dark tint make me feel like batman

  18. Helmets with inbuilt sunvisors are the best of all.

Dark when the suns out and then flip it up without even slowing down when you don't need it.

  19. Quite agree. All helmets should be fitted with them. My Schuberth also has a catch to flip the top of the visor forward slightly for more ventilation or fog clearing.

  20. A light tint with a Pinlock, and I always wear ear plugs. I tried the flip front Schuberth with the retractable visor but it just didn't fit me so I went for a Multitec, my next lid will be the Neotec with the in built visor system.

When I have tried a clear visor with sun glasses I get very anoying double reflections and just can't make it work.

Dark tint visors are illegal for a good reason. On the rare occasions that I have riden at night with the light tint (approved for daylight only) it is just awful, I feel very unsafe. As I only ride for recreation it is rarely a problem.
