G'day Y'all...

  1. Howdy.
Quick intro before I get into the meat of the forums...
    Names Simon.
Old Duc owner, Brit born, Aussie raised, moved back to UK 2005.
    Currently own and ride '04 ('05 plate) 999R (no:702) and '99 Fatboy.
Previously had '94 916 Strada bip, and still own '01 900SS back in my old mans garage...
Coming from Oz, after leaving the 900SS behind, didn't ever think I'd get to own a 916, but within my first year here... guess what?
That got written off by a psycho ex (malicious damage) retained and rebuilt, held onto till 2012 when crashed my ZX7R and Mrs said "Slow Down"...
    Sold both and got Fatboy.
    (65mph top speed @ 150% grin factor).
But Italian V's are my passion, so acquired a 51 plate RSV Haga copy which I Really enjoyed...
But again Mrs says "You need another Duc..." so have traded up to a 999R ... who am I to argue?

Look forward to chucking my two bob in the ring, and maybe creating some mischief with you lot.

P.S. the 749S is the Mrs bike...

    See you out there...

  5. I think they're Petunias..
Bit of a shame the bikes are in the way...

  6. Pretty sure they are neither begonias nor petunias.

    My money is on geraniums.

  7. Evening FatDave :)

  8. A man, comfortable in his masculinity - it is cool to know ones Begoniaceae. Live and learn Finm.

Not sure the petal form is correct for Geraniums, they could be Pelargoniums, at a stretch....

  9. receiver of swollen goods springs to mind.

  10. Even Vivian from the Young Ones liked Begonia's.

  11. yeah, but deep fried with Branston ....

  12. do you like begonias.

  13. Welcome to the forum :)

  14. Ah yes. Looking at it on full resolution they are definitely petunias.
    Well, pretty definitely.
I have some petunias (cream colour) and flower shape is the same.

  15. I have no preferences towards garden plants. Unless you can smoke it.

  16. See that?

Sly use of background folliage completely disguised the reference to being Aussie....
Or, I could be wrong, but maybe...
A better class of machine requires a better class of operator.. What-What!

And, no, you can't start now. It's too late...
