Keep hearing rumours of a new spec 1199 for 2015, as thinking of changing mine early next year. But would be disappointed if a new spec 1199 came out shortly after. Any one heard any thing, as the 1199 must be getting close to a upgrade / new model.
Everywhere is blasting out 1199 's nearly as cheap as 899. So I guessed a new model is coming and they know.

well mines a keeper now , it will only be tweeks anyway and tbh if they change the bodywork it may look worse ,could you make it any better looking ?
Can't see it unless driven by WSBK performances and the rules remain largely unchanged until 2017. Have the WSBK riders been complaining about the chassis / swing arm / motor etc. Anyway, I farkin hope not I've had mine for about three weeks, paid list price for it and love it to bits. Flogged my last bike with 900 miles on it having bought it last year. As I was handing my money over for it I was looking at the 1199. Knew I should have bought one then.
I think it's fairly certain it's getting a facelift or a tweak. It'll be same bike underneath it all. But if they change the 1199 them the 899 will soon be changed as it'll look old and I can't see that happening since they new out not long ago. 899 was list price everywhere I spoke to , and 1199 were upto £3k off .
That was the other thing I was going to say. 899 not even a year old and flying off the shelves so another reason not to change it. But £3k off!!! is disconcerting.
It will look the same but tweaks in electronics, maybe R pistons in S model etc. more Bhp, there will be enough to make us all want to change.. Hopefully they sort out low down fuelling.
yep that's the trouble with what seems good deals low apr £1000,s off when you come to sell /px you get it stuck right up ya, but why worry as long as you have fun on it ,
