a classic example of a little knowledge is dangerous. i know i bar'd it didn't realize how tight it had to be.
why do ducati use such a high torque setting? my triumph st settting was 146nm its a single sider never came loose, admitted it got about 30 less horses but basically same system
Why do you even need to remove the rear wheel? Everyone knows that a Ducati's mileage never reaches double figures. The fuel tanks are just for show, too!
Do you have a transcript of your conversation as proof? For all we know you could be a leading grease manufacturer. We have only your word as a gentleman as evidence. "Bloke in Italy told me so, must be true...".
As some technically able/knowledgeable guys e.g. John W say not to grease thought it worth checking elsewhere......wouldn't be the first time the manual was wrong!
Last time i measured my head ( single wrap around of tape measure, @finm), it came out as medium. Therefore triumph riders have medium 'nuts'......
