Are you the same size as Dani Pedrosa? You make the 848 look massive. I look like an ape all over my 1098 :frown: its just not pretty. Me that is, not you. Anybody got a ladder for the deep hole ive just dug myself Anyway, here's what I did to a set of mag toe sliders on my last track day. These were brand new before I started the day. I think I need to reconsider my foot postion
More pictures from following riders please Dainesegirl......the chaps will know exactly what I mean....Lol.....
When are you and Jools DD'ing again?! Lol D'girl - the only pic I've ever seen where an 848 dwarfs the rider! Nice style btw
Welcome to the club Macca...1 trackday, a set of knee sliders and thru the toe sliders, leather and my socks...1 season 4 pairs of boots...expensive lesson!
Thanks guys for the comments. I do struggle with the size of the 848 (I'm 5ft2) and it's a long reach to the bars for me! Love it though. Yes, I'm same D'girl from the old Ducatisti forum... Was thinking of doing the Ducati day next week at Donny, but it's full... :frown: Was a bit too late with weather watching! DG
Its rained the session before lunch, so I sat that one out. Next session was dampish, so nice and easy and the next was dry, which is when I ran out of fuel on the last lap just before the pit exit :biggrin: Sadly no photos of me getting a push from the marshalls . It was a great day. Silverstone say they will be doing more and if they run like yesterday, they're going to be good. Im going to write up something for my other post later today (Im at work at the mo so I cant really do it yet...shhhhh )
Hello All Pics from the No Limits track day (s) at Le Man last week. Fantastic 2 days, weather virtually perfect apart from some rain Friday afternoon. Ran the 999R and took the SFS for a couple of sessions, it turned out to be a really great track bike. Needs some rearsets, good tyres and some sliders oh and maybe a quickshifter..... My 'luxury' motorhome. Does the trick. The weekend was made by the monkey bike boys, who came with a 38 tonne artic, lots of beer and a great set-up. Greg
