Have they fecked off yet and can I stop paying my taxes to fund their children's university educations at the expense of my own? Let em have it...they'll all be hanged when the food, money and resources, namely people, run south and leave Salmond head of his own castle These games are an entire waste of money. Just like Brazil and the world cup, maybe if they stuck some of the cash into the local communities they would see long term benefit, not just a few t shirt salesman making a few quid for a week or two.
Watched the first few minutes and then had to leave the room, I am biased however as I think John Barrowman is a prize twat - would have been 'better' with Jimmy Krankie. Some time later I switched it back on only to see Alex Salmond's smug mug :Asshat: - if anyone ever deserved a slap... In short, what a load of old shit. :Wtf:
I considered myself a Londoner too, after being there about 10 years. It is a great city, and I always correct people who say its not friendly. I found it to be very friendly. Like you I liked heading off to Brugges for the day. I never hated it whie there but found the amount of people increasingly difficult. Now when I go back, of I am in the car, I can't wait to get out. If on the tube, its been great. I would not move back though. The quality of life here is so much better. Biggest drawback is missing my friends there.
Would you like to back this up with actual real facts? Scotland 8.8% of the population contributes 9.3% to the UK exchequer. The only other areas which contribute a surplus are London and SE England. You live in neither. I subsidise you, and your HS2 and your Trident .......
For some reason that reminds me of a quote from one of the greatest thinkers of our time.. " It isn't pollution that is harming our environment, It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it"
i am actually very interested in geology, i was advised to take it at school but thought wtf will be good for (along with all the other subjects at school) from the age of eight it was motorbikes only and nothing else, then a mate of mine another keen biker did a degree in it and now he is head of some oil company for the southern hemisphere. doh!
If anybody is interested here is what a lot of the weegies think about what's being done in their name. The Hidden Glasgow Forums • View topic - Thank goodness for the CW games Just saying
Go for it fin. Geology is indeed very interesting. Plus you live near some of the most ancient rocks on the planet on the NW. Scotland has some very interesting geology.
id echo that, Geology was one of my top scoring O levels. Still apply some of the knowledge i learned, today as i amble around the world/my back garden. Scotland, with its old rocks, and fascinating landscape, is very interesting, from that perspective.
being a man of few words and the memory of a gold fish these degrees require 20k word essay's not for me a degree. but love and watch every thing that's out there.
