It's just the free Camera+ app and my iphone , nothing sophisticated lol - not 'bought' any of the extras just the free ones - works ok for pics on phone
Home after 1140 miles over the weekend. Weather was mostly good but when it pissed down it pissed down. Enjoyed it though. Good company, good craic, and excellent roads
Refitted the serviced OE slipper clutch, refitted the fuel pump assembly and fuel cap to the freshly powder coated repaired petrol tank and now just putting a few tools and spares together for Silverstone on Thursday. Andy
Gone all MotoGP with the Panigale to stop the normal flapping brake and clutch reservoirs waving in the breeze...... Just about ready for Silverstone on thursday
Had to present to Vince Cable about all the investment at work - was asked by a director to see my prep, didn't have any, so said don't worry I will wing it like I do every day
Another day producing meaningful stAts from systems that keep the data in different formats and the search fields may, just may, hold accurate data. Now I'm making Gooseberry jelly for an interdepartmental competition ( bread and preserves). Raises good money for this year chosen charity. Last competition was cake.
bracing myself for another trip up the M4 and preparing for the isolation and lack of friends one encounters in lanes 1 and 2 of the M25..... my mothers grass needs cutting again!
successfully diagnosed and repaired a running fault on a saab, potently an expensive cock up for me as i dont charge the labour if i misdiagnose. who da man! lost a set of keys for the saab a very expensive cock up. only just found them. what a dick.
That's a bit unlucky. And marginal Today I spent a little time pondering something that happened yesterday (see what I did there?). I was on the bike, riding home on my usual route along a dual carriageway. Traffic was initially fairly heavy but lightened up as I left some of the busier on/off ramps behind. I was in the fast lane, stuck behind a car doing a speed that was reasonably close to the speed limit. I then noticed an unmarked police car approaching from behind, blues flashing. Must have been tanking it because one moment he wasn't there, the next moment (about five seconds later) he was approaching at a rate of knots. The car in front noticed about the same time as me, slowed and pulled over into the slow lane (abandoning his overtake of a car in the slow lane) and I followed suit. I had a feeling that the police car was going to pull me over but instead, he went past. The police car then slowed down quite a bit, sufficiently so for me to keep him in plain sight ahead of me. I overtook the cars that were previously in front of me. About two miles later, the unmarked police car pulled into a lay-by and the driver got out of the car. I went past at my usual close-to-the-speed-limit rate. The police car never re-appeared in my mirrors. Of course, I'll never know or understand the reason for the traffic cop's behaviour - God moves in mysterious ways - but in my vanity, I wondered whether he had charged up behind me to see what I might do. If that was the case, I'm sorry I disappointed him. Weird thing.
I spent all afternoon helping my boss install an expensive stereo system in some bloke's house. He seemed nice enough. However, I couldn't help wondering when he was going to offer us a cup of coffee or tea. Sadly, from 2:30 in the afternoon until 6:30 in the evening, no such offer was forthcoming. Isn't that a bit poor?
I like that picture, but if I'm honest the blue bike is not the best bit of it. Probably a great machine with all sorts of things to recommend it. But Italian style? Non. Nonetheless, I wish you Carlos, miles and miles of unbridled happiness on it.
Presumably he could afford the expensive stereo by looking after the pennies previously. Perhaps he has forgotten where he came from.....
