As the header says, I iz new to this lark and thought that I'd say hello to fellow Ducatisti. I've always liked Ducks and my earliest recollection is my mammy taking me to the park with a loaf of bread to feed them. I ride a 944 (which is the original name for my steed) and I'm looking forward to corresponding with ya'll. Quack quack.
Welcome to the forum Old boy! not sure people will recognise you from Ducatisiti with all that duck talk!
Less of the Old Ben! I thought that I might have been sussed earlier with the mention of Ducatisti, anyway thanks for the welcome. I can see a few of the old usernames Arquebus, Carbon 749 etc, so hopefully I'll be able to contribute to some of their posts in the future. So for now the Duck (formerly known as Marcoantonio) will sit back relax and see what this new forum is all about. Hi Al, What timing, I haven't had a proper sick day off of work in years (come to think of it I haven't had a proper holiday either) and here I am at 10. 30 am on a forum. The back issues have plagued me on and off for years and to be fair I've had a clear run for a year until I missed a grass covered pot hole on a verge last week, didn't see the hole and heavily jolted my lower back and pelvic area, to which it's been bloomin awful since, hence the time off work. Apart from that I'm OK. And you?
You bl**dy liar............You just wanted to take the day off on a cooler bright day to get out on the new bike....... Me?.......I guess I'm dying slowly...........Can't even use "I told you I was ill" on my gravestone; because Spike Milligan has already done that.
Lol, I can honestly say that it's bloody frustrating the only time that I've ridden it was taking it home and she's sat in the garage since. I hope that you're just larking around regarding your health? If not how about something like, "Sick, well what do you think?" as a headstone.
This is probably a bit long winded but...... A Cavalier attitude in life, and finally run over by one!
