I did get to have a wander around the Abbey run off at the end of the new pit straight. Very nice it is too, although my underwear would have a different opinion Kinda got me looking at track bikes too as I'm not convinced I want to spend too much time wandering around those places on the Pani!
Balls thats what its for desmodave is way quicker since he jumped on his (I'm told) because they are made for the track
It was a good day, novice group was very novice and busy, but big enough track to find some space, hope they dont put that many on track at Donnington. Was the guy taken to hospital in the air ambulance ?,i was informed that if the aa left site they would not be able to continue until it was available again ?,wish the guy a speedy recovery.
Did you stay ahead is the big question! Was looking at the pics earlier, wondered how I managed to have my toe dragging in places but no knee action..... Bit of work needed there I think :/
Spoke to one of the Ducati people before we left and enquired about how they were. Apparently they were concious at the track before being whisked off to Coventry Hospital. One of the guys on track was an Italian doctor so was helping to explain what was going on to the them. Hopefully that's a good sign. That was all they knew at that time. Fingers crossed it's nothing life changing and recovery is quick and full.
I had a great day, it was my first time on the GP circuit fantastic ! Sad to see the air ambulance arrive in the afternoon, best wishes to the person involved.
