Sue, Neal (or is it Neil), Count, other Neal (or is it Neil) and everybody else, great to catch up again. Some lovely cars down there, especially all the Porsche 356's. Nice weather, and reasonably quiet. A nice morning I feel
Yes good to meet you all again on a glorious sunny day....... where did Harry go? Just because he was in his car does not excuse him from the usual heirs and graces that is customary in the club, therefore I propose to give him a black ball unless he has some fantastic excuse.........
Guys, thanks for an enjoyable ride and sorry to get separated - breakfast called several times. Matt, sorry to miss you too. As an aside Carole and I will be at Becketts during the Moto GP at the end of the month and at Brands for the last round of the BSB. It would be nice to see a few familiar faces and meet new ones if anyone will be going. Andy
Yeah good to meet up android, you were there one minute then not..we walked over to the proper cafe where they serve better food Ride back was a bit more busy with traffic, hope you managed to take the over the hill road back. Its worth it
Yes good ride back almost. Came out of Alton on the Basingstoke road when an MG just stopped in the middle of the road by the water works and then indicated to turn right . Never thought I'd be a fan of ABS but it saved me from potentially a lot of pain and damage to both me and the Mutley . Always wondered how easy it would be to do a "stoppy" and now I know - not difficult at all ! Got the washing machine on the go right now . Andy
Cheers Matt, Good to catch up with everyone on a fine sunny morning in West Sussex. Regards, Neil PS not sure if I am "Neal (or is it Neil)" or "other Neal (or is it Neil)". I am Neil (not Neal, Neill or kneel, or "Neal (or is it Neil)", unless I am, in which case I am not "other Neal (or is it Neil)". I hope that clarifies everything.
We were at Goodwood but didn't get to meet anybody from the forum. The cars were a bit boring after a while but the Full English in the flying club was as good as ever. I spotted a few Ducati's parked up as I was preparing to leave, including two Diavels parked next to each other. One all shiney and spotless, the other scruffy and scraped!!! When you left, I tagged on until the Petworth road then headed back to Chi. Next stop was Tangmere Aviation Museum open day and air display. Kevin
Didnt realise you were there @mattmccabebrown ....I would have said hello as I was there with @bradders and @Android853sp and a few others. They didnt say much to me though......I was on the Triumph!
Said enough for you to remember my name :Smug: what more did you want ? Unfortunately I got distracted by a few of the cars from my era especially that immaculate Lotus Cortina so ended up getting separated. My misfortune and I hope for another chance to make your acquaintance . Matt we seem to run into each other at odd times and places so I'm sure we'll catch up soon. At least your Blade is the right colour . Andy
