Hi golfatha here watched this forum for a long long time now and always just loved the ducati. But hey now I finally have one, bought the one I've dreamed of since it was first announced that it was coming. And that's the 1098R Troy Bayliss limited edition had it 4 weeks now but only been out once but the noise and feeling was like wow and it's so hard to come out of my garage now,I'm just well and truly smitten.

Lucky you Ian899 being in Corbridge - I lived there for 4 very happy years as a child, and would love to go back. Even took my husband up to Northumberland on our honeymoon! Have ridden through when returning from Scotland on bike tours. Oh, and hi and welcome to the forum Golfatha!

Hi Ian thanks for the post are you friends with Dave Richardson as I went to see Dave and his ducatis prior to buying my bayliss and he mentioned he had a mate from Corbridge with an R must be you I live in Stocksfield
Aye I know Davy well ,we go way back,I was best man at his wedding .He's a pretty handy rider and a great laugh,more so when drinks involved

Torture it is but been on hol been to work mrs can't get me out the garage in between but wanna keep the miles down as it's only got 3000 miles on her now just happy owning a Bayliss and riding it now and again sure it will make each ride ever so special for me
